Artist's Comments

I came across this excellent tutorial on coptic stitching a few months ago, and my (long dormant) interest in book-making and binding was quite piqued. I made a couple sketchbooks to get a feel for the technique, and then it was time to get serious. (Now I'm going to tell everyone I'm a published author.)

Cute! :)

I have a book on book-making. I always planned on hand stitching a book but um, never did. :\

You are not dead yet! It is not too late!

Maybe you should make some hand-bound copies of Moon Jelly. {hint hint}

oh my - that is so cool. a very neat idea. i think it takes minimalism to a whole new level.
and the fact that you made it - even better.

Thank you! These little books are a lot of fun to make. And fantastically easy. There will be more, so many more, to come. :heart:

The thought never crossed my mind to make copies of it. I always thought it was far too unpolished and nonsensical.
